In forestry and agriculture, vehicles and machines often have to cope with extremely demanding requirements in extreme conditions. HVAC systems are also required in this context to a high dimension. Equipment used in forestry and agriculture, winter road maintenance, railway and airport technology, as well as road sweepers, are exposed to extreme conditions: dust, moisture, dirt, strong vibrations, heat and cold are the order of the day. When developing thermal management systems for these areas, we aim for a robust construction, durability, safety and a long service life so that they can withstand these demanding conditions.
The quality of the air inside a vehicle is an important factor for the health, well-being and safety of drivers. Since the available space in off-road machines is usually very limited, well-thought-out solutions for intelligent airflow are required. The aim is to direct air as efficiently as possible to the right place: in winter, to direct warmth to the feet and in summer, to direct cool air to the area of the head. We develop customer-specific heating systems with extra heaters for special conditions. Extremely high outside temperatures can be quickly mitigated with the right control concepts and the right air circulation systems.
Reheat functions as they are referred to, are used to remove humid air from rooms. In drivers' cabs, this and the resulting fogging can have a negative impact on safety and operability in the vehicle. With our innovative HVAC concepts, we solve precisely this problem.
The right thermal management system creates optimal conditions for drivers in the cab in terms of heat, cold and proper ventilation. Agricultural and forestry vehicles, as well as road sweepers, often require additional concepts for fine dust filtration, noise reduction and overpressure systems. Of course, we also take these requirements into account in our comprehensive system solutions.
